Itinerary Idea In Detail

Day 1 - Hanoi, Vietnam - Arrival

On arrival at Hanoi's Noi Bai International airport, you will be greeted by our guide and transferred downtown. Visit Ho Chi Minh Memorial Complex and Ba Dinh Square. Visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum which contains the embalmed body of Ho Chi Minh (closed Mondays, Fridays and from 15 June to 15 August); and Ho Chi Minh's Stilt House where Ho Chi Minh lived from 1958 until his final days in 1969. Preserved in the same condition as during his life, it may be viewed through the windows. Continue to the miniature 11th century One Pillar Pagoda which was rebuilt after being destroyed by the French in 1954. Visit train street (may view from outside), next stop is Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple. Later proceed to visit water puppet show. Accommodation at hotel in Hanoi.

Day 2 - Halong Bay day cruise

After breakfast, you will travel to Halong Bay, was awarded by UNESCO as a natural heritage in 1994. This three-hour drive will show you the diversity of the North Vietnam villages and rice fields along the journey. Arrive in Halong, you will board our boat for a four-hour cruise of this stunning area, stopping along the way to visit one of the most beautiful grottoes in Halong, Paradise Grotto (Thien Cung Grotto) which has thousands of stalactites, stalagmites shaping a marvelously natural palace. We keep cruising to see many lime stone islands and islets which dotted around the bay including: Dinh Huong islet, Ga Choi islet, seafood lunch will be served on boat (vegetarian food available). Back to Hanoi in the evening. Accommodation at hotel in Hanoi.

Day 3 - Hanoi – Hoa Lu – Trang an – Hanoi

This morning, travel from Hanoi to Ninh Binh province, visiting the Dinh and Le sanctuaries, the remnants of the ancient Hoa Lu citadel. Explore Trang An’s UNESCO World Heritage site by boat, marveling at limestone peaks, caves, and temples. Enjoy your dinner . Return to your hotel in Hanoi for the night.

Day 4 - Hanoi – Fly to Danang – Hoian Ancient Town

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Danang. Upon arrival, met by our tour guide and driver and transfer to hotel for check in. In the afternoon, visit Hoi An Ancient Town, which is an exceptionally well-preserved example of a South-East Asian trading port dating from the 15th to the 19th century. Its buildings and its street plan reflect the influences, both indigenous and foreign, that have combined to produce this unique heritage site. Enjoy a walking tour of this enchanting town visiting an old merchant house, a Chinese Assembly Hall and the Japanese Covered Bridge. Accommodation at hotel in Da Nang.

Day 5 - Danang – Ba Na Hills – Danang

After breakfast, transfer to Ba Na Hill, then take a cable car trip (awarded 2 GUINNESS records) to Ba Na Hills, enjoying green natural forests and Dream Stream, Elephant Rock, Rainbow from above. Upon arrival, take a walking tour to visit Linh Ung Pagoda with the Big Buddha Statue, visit Le Jardin Garden, Fantasy Park, Golden Bridge etc. Balance of the day is free for relax at My Khe beach - classified as one of the most attractive beaches on earth. Accommodation at hotel in Da Nang.

Day 6 - Danang - Fly to Ho Chi Minh

After breakfast check out the hotel and transfer to the airport for the flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival, met by our tour guide and driver and check in hotel. Accommodation at hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 7 - Cu Chi Tunnels – Ho Chi Minh City Tour

After breakfast, you will depart for Cu Chi Tunnels, an intricate network of tunnels used during the Vietnam War. Here, you can explore the tunnels and understand what makes this place so fascinating. You even have the chance to try some tangy tea and cassava, the main provisions of Vietnamese guerrillas during the war. This is a great opportunity for those who wish to learn about the rich culture and history of Vietnam. In the afternoon, take a short sightseeing tour of Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Saigon): visit the War Museum, Hundred Years Red Cathedral (Notre Dame Cathedral), shopping at Ben Thanh Market. Accommodation at hotel in Saigon.

Day 8 - Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam - Departure

Today you are free for leisure until the time transfer to airport for departure flight. Say goodbye with sweet memories!
